To register as an organ and tissue donor in British Columbia, be ready to provide your birth date, address, and Personal Health Number. There is no age restriction, but a parent/guardian must sign on behalf of someone who is under the age of 19.

BC Transplant is the sole governing body responsible for all aspects of organ transplantation in British Columbia. They oversee the entire process, from coordinating organ donation and allocation to supporting transplant recipients and donor families.
TRFBC is dedicated to supporting innovative research in the field of organ transplantation within British Columbia. Their work aims to improve the lives of transplant recipients through better outcomes and enhanced quality of life.
The University of Alberta's student-led Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness initiative educates future healthcare professionals and the community about organ donation through talks, booths, social media, and collaborations, ultimately aiming to increase donor registration and save lives.
