Trillium Gift of Life Network
Ontario Health
The Trillium Gift of Life Network is an agency created by the Government of Ontario. They coordinate organ and tissue donation and transplantation services across the province, as well as plan, promote, and support all health care and allied professionals, advocates, and the Ontario public in fulfilling their responsibilities in saving the lives of Ontarians waiting for a transplant.
BeADonor.ca is an online organ donation registry through the Trillium Gift of Life Network. The goal of BeADonor.ca is to encourage all Ontarians to become registered organ and tissue donors and educate them on the impact of their generous decision to give.
The High School Outreach Initiative is a program run by the University of Toronto Transplant Institute in partnership with the Trillium Gift of Life Network. The initiative aims to extend awareness about organ and tissue donation and transplantation by delivering presentations in and around Greater Toronto Area high schools.
The Organ Advocacy Initiative (OAI) is a student-run initiative at McMaster University and Western University. The OAI aims to foster an understanding of the organ trade as an international social crisis while humanizing victims of the organ donor shortage and strengthening trust in regulated means of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
